Chantal Modeste Nonault was received in audience on 3 April 2023 by Alamine Ousmane Mey, Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, who is also the Governor of the African Development Bank for Cameroon.

Chantal Modeste Nonault, Executive Director of the Central Africa Constituency Office for Cameroon, Burundi, Central African Republic, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo and Chad, was accompanied by Bilan Guy Jean Claude, Senior Adviser at the AfDB and Serge N’guessan, Director General of the African Development Bank (AfDB). Discussions between Alamine Ousmane Mey and his host focused on various issues such as: the status of ongoing AfDB interventions in Cameroon, preparations for the African Development Bank’s Group Annual Meetings and the next Country Strategy. Chantal Modeste Nonault also had to update herself from Alamine Ousmane Mey on the strategic orientations of our country and useful information in order to better advocate in favour of Cameroon at the Board of Directors of this banking institution.

For the record, Chantal Modeste Nonault was appointed for the position of Executive Director of the Central Africa constituency during the Annual Meetings of the AfDB Group held from 23 to 27 May 2022 in Accra, Ghana. Her working visit to Cameroon took place from 3 to 6 April 2023, as part of a consultation mission to Cameroon.
