The Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development Alamine Ousmane Mey has today received in an audience, the American Ambassador to Cameroon, H.E Christopher John Lamora.
Speaking with the Press after the close to one hour meeting, His Excellency Christopher John Lamora explained that he and his host held talks on how to foster the bilateral relations of Cameroon and America.
First he appreciated the presence of the His Excellency President Paul Biya at the U.S African Summit in Washington, saying that it underscores the importance and the positive trajectory of the bilateral relations between Cameroon and the USA over the past few years and especially since the beginning of the Biden Administration.
The two officials who shared their commitment to increasing trade relations, also talked ways in which America could help Cameroon in her national development goals amongst others.
